Anthony and Rebecca West had 8 children. I descend from the John line into Bladen and New Hanover Co N.C., through the Pridgen and Bordeaux families.
I also descend from Herrings before they left Isle of Wight Co, Va. John's brother Daniel Herring supposedly had a daughter named Martha. John Batten married a Martha Herring in IOW Co, and their children were John, Nathan, (IOW militia, Rev War)m. Sarah, Joshua Batten 1732-1816, m. Nancy,(my line). They moved to Columbus Co., N.C., had a son, Barnabus m. Alice Ray, and populated SE N.C.
I need someone to help me with the Daniel line. Wife, children, etc. to tie me in.
