Very interesting, considering the book says 1774-1786. Are you sure we are talking about the same John Herndon? Can you please tell me more about him and his family? Do you know his wife's name and maybe where he lived before Spotsylvania county? Do you happen to have his will or know if any of the family names I mentioned in my first post connect with this man or any of his family? Any other information would be welcomed. Thank you for answering my post.
