Jay, you probably got the Herndon-Jefferson connection because Anne E. Herndon married Robert Bolling Cabell in Vir in 1833 and it seems she died in 1834 had one child a daughter. Maybe from child birth? He remarried a Eleanor Hart and had 7 more children.
The Bollings and Archers married into Jefferson family.
