Janice Faith Paradiso, ne้ Herman, died peacefully in her home in Las Vegas surrounded by her children and loved ones on February 7, 2007. She was 73 years old. She is survived by her son, Carl Paradiso, of Chicago, IL, her daughter, Pamela Paradiso; son-in-law Steve Johnson; and grandson, Ryan Johnson, of San Carlos, CA; her first husband and father of her children, Carlo J. Paradiso, of Las Vegas; and her brother, James Herman II, of Old Fort, NC. She was preceded in death by her second ex-husband, Donald Wohlgemuth, of Las Vegas and her parents Mabel and James Herman of Old Fort, NC. Family and friends were very important to her. In lieu of flowers or memorials, Jan asked that you do something thoughtful for someone: lend a helping hand, share a good laugh with a friend, smile to someone in need, make a new friend, and love the ones you have a little bit more.
