I have found a portrait photo in a family collection that may be Binger Herman, 1843-1926, the US Congressman from Oregon. The reverse side of the photo names the "Studio of J.Z. Foulk in Hillsboro, Oregon." It was probably taken in the 1880's. I have seen a photo online of Binger taken in his later years and it has possibilities but I would like to locate a photo prior to 1900 to help confirm the identity. It is a wonderful photo and should be in a museum collection and not the bottom of the trunk, without a name, where it currently resides.
