Edward R. Herman of Schaumburg A memorial Mass for Edward R. Herman, 82, formerly of Arlington Heights, will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1451 W. Bode Road, Schaumburg. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Edward was the beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Eltman); loving father of Katherine (Robert) Baker, Raymond (Linda), Daniel (Fran) and the late Edward J.; proud grandfather of Adam, Christopher, Anneliese, Patrick and Michael; and brother of the late Dorothy Hoch. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601. Arrangements were made by Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Schaumburg, 847-882-5580.
