The names are the same but the birthdates appear to be almost a century apart. My ggg grandmother, Catharina elisabeth Herkenhoff was born in 1803 and came to the US in 1836. She was born very near to Hagen. Her husband, Gerard Heinrich Rietbrock Spellmeyer was born in Hagen in 1795.

The family emigrated to Cincinatti, OH through the port of Baltimore. Catharina died in Crescentville, OH about the time that you ancestor was born in Hagen.

there may be a family connection, since the Catharina & Elisabeth names were very common. I'd be happy to correspond with you personally if you think that would be of use.
