I am researching the Coles that resided in Rhode Island and Connecticut. My grt,grt,grt grandfather was George Cole b abt 1825. It states on the 1850 cencus that
he was from Rhode Island and lived in Griswold, Connecticut at the time of that census. He was married to Catherine, her last name at this time is unknown, and she
was from Connecticut. He had the following children:Martha Ann b abt 1843, George Washington (this was my grt,grt grandfather)b 1845, Sarah b abt 1847 and
Eleanor(this one was very hard to read on the census) b abt 1849.All of those children were born in Connecticut. George Washington Cole married Olive Watson
in 1869 in Sterling, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Benjamin Watson and Mary Harrington. George Washington Cole and Olive Watson (she was born in RI)
had the following children: Georgianna b1869 m William Jarvis, Charles b1872, Benjamin Andrew (this is my grt granfather)b 1877 m Etta Maria Walden, and Mary
Esther b abt 1883-1888 m Benjamin S Hall. If anyone is researching this family I would love to hear from you. I am looking for information on everyone in this
