Herd lineage traced back to Leslie Scotland

We can trace our heritage of Herds to James Ferguson Herd who sailed from Glascow to America in 1888. He was from Leslie Scotland and other Herds including Alexander Herd who may be "Sandy" Herd who won the British Open in 1902. Any other Herds form this tree? There are 3 generations of James Herds now living in Fort Worth Texas. Carol Herd Blankenship is our genealogist and she lives in Johnson City Tenn.
