Are you related to the Herd's in TN? If so my aunt once did an family tree, but when she died it just dissappeared so I'm trying to redo all the research of the Herd's for my boys. But I do remember one thing-If she followed us back rightly-We go back to the early 1700's New York=He was a German navigator, his grave is still there and readable.Oh My grandfather is Tamer Herd his father is Charlie Preston Herd, his father Armstrong Herd and we believe his father to be Charle Herd/Hurd-They rest in the Palmer family Cem.
