HI,
I am researching the Herd, Heard, Hurd, etc. family from Tennessee that settled in NE Texas. The parents were believed to be William Herd. William's first wife was Charlotte. After she died, he maried a Della. Siblings of these two marriages were: S D Herd b Oct 1840 either in TN or TX--married Esther Whiteman, Al Herd b Jan 1844 either in TN or TX--married Julia Barrett, Caroline Herd b. either in TN or TX married Samuel P. Marrs. Other siblings were Chester, John, Ezekiel, & maybe one more ????.
SD Herd and Esther settled in NE Texas around Lamar Co., then later moved to SE OK around Swink, OK. The same for Al Herd & Julia Barrett. Caroline Herd and Samuel P Marrs lived in Ark, TX & OK.
Any information on the above would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
