Searching for the parents of the following HERD children who lived along
the Clinch River in NE TN (possibly Hancock or Hawkins Co.)
James Lacy b 9-6-1848 TN
Cainan Charles b 2-5-1851 TN
Martha b abt 1855 TN
George Jesse b 3-10-1857 TN
Lucy b unknown
could also be a Celia b abt 1843
Another descendent gave the parents names as Seth C HERD and Sarah or
Mary BLOOMER. This info was found in an old letter. I have not been
able to find this family group in any census or anything else with these
parents.
Cainan, Martha and George were orphaned at an early age. Found in TX
1870 living with sister and her husband Joseph M Barns.
Could these be the children of George HERD and Lucy ROLLER married
4-2-1833 in Hawkins Co, TN??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
