I am not researching these people, but noticed this information which might be helpful to someone. From the book "The Land Records of Prince George's County< maryland, 1717 to 1726" by Elise Greenup Jourdan:
"folio 326, Deed of Gift, 21 Jul 1722; enrolled 4 Sep 1722, from Alexander Herbert, Gentleman of Prince George's County and Mary his wife, widow and relict of Giles Blizard late of Charles Co., dec'd; To: Mary Fraser of Prince George's County - At the time of his death, Giles Blizard was seized of a parcel of land of 600 acres in Baltimore County; by will dated 6 Dec 1687, proved 3 Feb 1687 did bequeath land called 'Athelborough' being par of said remaining real estate to his wife Mary who has since married Alexander Herbert, for love and affection and 5s they give to their granddaughter, Mary Fraser, the land called 'Athelborough' on the north side of Patapsco River and west side of the middle branch of said river; signed Alexd Herbert (mark & seal), Mary Herbert (seal); Witnessed by Notley Rozer, Tho. Addison; Acknowledged by Mary Herbert wife of Alexander."
Giles Blizard was married to Mary Smallwood. I do not know for sure that this is the same Mary, but probably is.
