John Henry Acker married Cararine (?Worley) before 1766 in York Co., PA. He died Jan 1787 in Shenandoah Co., VA; she before 26 Jan 1786, same co. They had 7 known children: (1) Michael Aker = Catherine Hepner 1790 Shenandoah Co., VA; Eliz. = Dan. Piper 1786 same co.; John = Susanna Dressler 1789 same co.; Anna Catharine = Joh. Peter Frisinger -1796 Tork Co., PA, then Peter Runkle 1821 Champaign Co., OH; Magdalena = John Wehrly 1796 Augusta Co., VA; 2 youngest sons, marriages not known [to me], George, born 1778 York Co., PA & Jacob born 1783 in Shenandoah Co., VA. I am trancing all these & am descended from John = Susanna (Dressler) Aker, who died 1845 in Winchester, IN. Magdalena Aker Wehrly known to have died 10 Feb 1850 Preble Co., OH.
