I have been trying to document just who Magdalin Harnissin (german spelling) Harniss,Harnish, Harniss that married Shenandoah Co. VA 21 Feb 1775, to John KIBLER. It appears to connect date wise to a Catherine Hepler m. John Skelton 12 Sept 1774 in Shenandoah Co. VA
Since this Giebeler family has had records under Peebler/Pibler/Gabler/Kabler/Kibler (German started with Giebeler) I always keep an open mind. NO I am not saying this Harnissin is with the Hepler/Skelton marriage. Just wanting to let you know the very close date of marriages in 1774-75. Believe it was an early 1990 posting that mentioned the Harniss. Perhaps by a gail brown?? just one of the very firs messages. If some Harnish replys it may help everyone. Charlotte
