Sarah Lois Hepler was born April 17, 1906 to Dwight Ralph,Sr and Pearl (Gerwig) Hepler and left this world May 6, 2006, age 100. Lois was born in Bradys Bend, PA and moved with her parents to Cleveland, Ohio in 1909. She received her masters of education degree from Western Reserve University and taught for nearly four decades in the Cleveland Public Schools, the major portion of her career with the first grade at Anthony Wayne Elementary School, retiring in 1968. Lois was a long time member of the DAR. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dwight, Jr, and a sister-in-law, Virginia. She is survived by niece, Betty Hepler Scott (Jon), nephew Roy (Celeste), great nieces and nephews Josh Wyrick, Rhiannon Wyrick, Erica Hepler, David Hepler and Adam Hepler. Lois led an active and inquiring life and had many friends. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
