Ciaran,
My Hepenstall family came from Co Wicklow, My GGGrandfather had ties to Newtownmountkennedy and Kilpedder,Co.Wicklow My GGrandfather was James 1837-1894 married Frances Allen. They had 9 siblings, James,Benjamin,Thomas, William, Allan, Norman,Percy,Amy and Dora.
My Grandfather was Benjamin 1886-1924, he and his wife had 1 child James my father.
After sending for a photo-copy of my Grandfathers birth certificate, was suprised to read that my GGrandfather spelt his name with 1(L) know that Benjamin,Norman and Percy spelt theirs with 2(L's) I would like to hear more about your family, you are welcome to e-mail me on the side.
