Norris,Yes I would be interested in the Heppenstall branch going back to the 1700's. I believe Sam and Charles Heppenstall were the first of the family to come to America and settle around PittsburghThey lived around Rotherham, Yorkshire England in 1832 when Charles was Christened. I am not sure when they came to America. Charles was married in about 1843 and was here then.I have not encountered any Reverend's in the family so far. How was he related to Sam Heppenstall who started the Heppenstall Steel company? The Sam Heppenstall who started the Company was born 1842and died 1931. His son Samuel Brittlef Heppenstall then ran the company. He was born 1879 and died 1966. I have more information on this family If you care to e-mail me, be sure to subject Heppenstall genealogy.
