Jack - I probably also am a descendant of George Henton and whoever he married (maybe Persis Boone) - through Thomas (I) and Thomas (II)who lived in Woodford County, KY.

Hampton Henton has now re-purchased Thomas (II) Henton's Pre-emptive Warrant Land in Versailles, KY that was out of the family ownership for quite some time. The family cemetery is behind his house - he tells me there are gravestones with both spelling Hinton and Henton.

Hope this helps someone. I would still like to know about Persis - and I find the Boone family name spelled as Bryan in England. Can anyone help on this?
