William Henthorn & Frances (Fanny) Myers are my greatgreat grandparents. I have a copy of the Schedule 3 Persons who died during the year ending 1st of June 1850. William Henthorn appears on this 1850 Mortality Census for District 106 Monroe County ,Ohio, age is 67, born in Pennsylvania, married and died of consumption. Frances (Fanny) Myers is on the 1850 Jackson Twp, Monroe Co, Ohio census, age is 60, born in Pennsylvania & living with her son Nathan Henthorn.
The children of William & Frances that I know of are Adam born abt 1805, Eli born abt 1810, Elizabeth born abt 1814, John born abt 1816, Nathan born abt 1818, Nancy born abt 1820, Matilda born abt 1824 & my great grandfather James born abt 1811. After viewing your posting I reviewed my data because I had a Martha Sill listed, she had married Peter Stewart before June/July 1851. She is listed on the 1850 Monroe Co, Ohio census with her children. Jacob is listed two doors away by himself on this census. Peter Stewart is listed with his chilren & no wife on this same census. Martha is shown on the Ellsworth, Tyler Co, West Virginia 1880 census living with her son Samuel Sill & his family, as Martha Stewart, relationship Mother, age 76, born in Ohio. I checked on the 1840 census for Jackson Twp,Monroe Co, Ohio & found Adam Henthorn, Jacob Sill, Wm.Henthorn, Eli Henthorn listed consecutively.Prior to your posting I had nothing regarding a Martha Henthorn as a child of William & Frances. I would appreciate any help in proof that she is their daughter. Contact me via email if you wish.
