Hi All!
I recently went to my state Archives and found something interesting for both lines of my family.
In the 1850 Monroe Township, Clark County, IN Census, I found the following:
p 85-86 dwelling 217/ family 217
Elijah Henthorn 48 M Cooper, $700 (vre), IN
Mahala 19 F IN
Louisa 17 F IN
Marinda 13 F IN
James A 11 M IN
Matilda 12 F IN
Margaret 8 F IN
Isabel 6 F IN
Jane 5 F IN
Sarah 3 F IN
Joseph Butcher 30 M Cooper IN
I figured out which Elijah this is but the Joseph Butcher listed as being in the household threw me off.
Anyone know anything about this Joseph Butcher?
