Hi Ron,
Am not sure if we've spoken before, but we seem to have several ancestors in common....also, I believe Mark or John may have some of my side of the lines info?? I'm having to re-research as the computer I had my info on crashed (couldn't save anything!) and my ex lost my hard copy when he moved.
My direct line is as follows (from what I am recalling from memory!)
My Mother : Beverly Jean (Hentges) Goebel
My grandfather: Peter Alois Hentges (wife Antionette)
My Great-Gradfather: Bernard Hentges (can't remember his wife's name off hand)
My G-G-Grandfather: Nicholas Hentges (can't remember wifes name, but he died in Stearns Co., MN)
From what I remember, we have ALOT of Nicholas's in the family and Michael's, so It's been quite a feat to figure out who's who....they tended to name thier kids similar names!
my line is as so:
Prussia>Iowa>Minnesota
