Seeking descendants of D.C. HENRY & Miss unknown first name BAKER, dau. of Charles A. and Lavinia S. CHAPIN BAKER. Obituary From the Auburn Bulletin [New York] (Tuesday, Aug. 19, 1890) DEATH OF C. A. BAKER The announcement of the death of Charles Augustus Baker at his late home 113 Franklin street yesterday, was received with universal sorrow by his numerous friends. The deceased has been in poor health for the past few months, suffering from an affliction of the kidneys, which finally resulted in his death. He was born in Petersborough, Madison county, this State, in 1815, and for the past 55 years has been a resident of Cayuga county. He was one of the best known and oldest residents in Auburn. He was the patentee of several surgical appliances. He leaves one sister Mrs. William Merseau of Cayuga and a brother Julius Baker of Wolcott, besides a wife and two children, V. Euguene Baker and Mrs. D. C. Henry, both of this city. The funeral will take place from the family residence 113 Franklin street, tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. Samuel Hopkins, D.
