Hi Mike: Louis may be the son of Charles Pied Blanc Henri and Angele Gareau. The couple is listed on my data base on RootsWeb (see Stormont.) There is a mystery surrounding the Pied Blanc or Piedblanc name, as another couple with the same names exists...or were they one and the same? There was a Charles who was an Ojibway chief who married Angele and I believe settled around the Ottawa region in Ontario. I, too, wonder if there is any native blood in my line.
