SON JOHN CONRAD HENNINGER age 9 came from Germany via amsterdam to aburks county pensylvania in the 1730s
hans micheal was born in ghermany 1691 to John Condar henninger b feb 20 1750 in germany and died june 21 1712. in germany had 5 wives total, his father was HANS Peter HENNINGER fron switzerland and mother elizabeth climents wife 5
CONRAD in germany had 3 wives anna rosana Graber was wife 3 and mother of Hans micheal. both men were taylors by trade. Hans micheal and Anna Marie were married Feb 18 1721 John Condar was borned may 14 1722 he marries Catheryn COOTZ (KOOTZ) in pensylvania and had his children there one named JOHN CONRAD JR and called conrad jr . and another just called JOHN . others inckluding Mary who married Philip Greever. in virginia. Conrad sr stopped off in maryland and then to washington county vorginia by the 1770s among the first surveys of land in the area. He and several sons went to the battle of kings mountian and one son was killed.
CONRAD JR had moved to north Carolinia and married Catherin Boltenhammer and was in the army there posiably under captian boltenhammer. My line continues though samual who married Margret fletcher in virginia, James Harvey who married Rebecca lewis, moved to briatiol tennessee probly. JOHN LEWIS HENNINGER who married Anginia A Wolf(?) and later Nanny Carolyn leedy, and then JOHN HICKS HENNINGER son of John lewis henninger and Anginia A wolf. John Hicke Henninger married MATTIE BARE in Bristol Tenn JOHN hicks being my grandfather.
They had 3 sons John LILBURN HENINGER my father, FRED LENSEY HENNINGER. and Harry lee HENNINGER.
Mattie bare was the daughter of George Lilburn bare and Emma Francis BARR of bristol tenn
John Lilburn henninger married RUTH WARREN of Bristol va nov 1 1937 in kingsport as the preacher he liked was there I was born dec 29 1942.
I have good data on the line in a book to about samual and james mentioned and from family records from John Hicks Bare line back to before 1820 BARE and BARR were origilally the same nane.
HENNINGER and HENINGER diffrtrnt spellings. 2 OTHER DECENDENTS of HANS PERER also came to americi in the 1700s also to pensylvania JOHN CONRAD SR decendents in VA, TENN, and NORTH CAROLINIA till after civil war and then some went to the salt lake city area with the Mormons. From Tazwell county va. Other Henningers went west from pensylvania.
