I recently purchased at an antique store in Eureka, CA, an undated studio photo taken around 1910 (guesstimate), depicting a middle age woman and a young boy, with the subject identifications written on the back of the photo. The photo was taken by Philadelphia Studio, 124 West 4th St., Williamsport, PA.
Based on my search of the U.S. Census data, I believe the young boy is Dale Henninger, born on April 27, 1903, to Charles D. and Hattie Henninger, who at the time of the 1910 Census and 1920 Censuses, resided at 147 East Front St., Williamsport, PA. The woman may be Hattie Henninger. The couple's other children were named Charles, Waldo, and Mary. On October 19, 1942, Dale enlisted in the U.S. Army in Philadelphia, PA, when he was shown as separated with dependents. He died on March 5, 1976 in Los Angeles, CA.
