I actually have been researching this family for my friend, who has been ill for some time. We enjoy learning new info about the family, for example we did not previously know the maiden name of Philip's wife! Do you happen to have further info on either of their family prior to their arrival in Iowa? And/or info on Sarah's family?
So you descend from their dau. Nancy, who married a Bottorff; just as her brother John married [probably] a sister of that Bottorff.
I do have census extracts, some cemetery extracts and a bit of info on the [related] Alexander family to share. Would love to learn more of what you have on the family, to give to my friend.
