I am looking for any family members of Henry and Marie Henninger of New York. They were my great aunt and uncle on my father's side.
I know Henry (we called him Uncle Henny) had at least one sister...Anna Barbara Henninger (my paternal grandmother) who married Henry Frank Foster. Anna and Henry Foster had four children...William Foster (my father), Dorothy Foster (Barker), Charles Foster and Carol Foster (Jewel). It is believed that the Foster name was changed when ancestors came over on the boat. I believe it was Futzer or something like that.
Marie and Henry Henninger had at least one son that I remember..Calvin.
Marie and Henry lived in New York. I believe it was Ossing (sp?). I remember from when I was a little girl, the Hudson River ran right behind their home. Uncle Henny used to put nuts on his feet and the squirrels and birds would come up and get them.
I don't remember when Uncle Henny died and don't know the exact date when Aunt Marie died but I do know she died in the early 70's.
If anyone has any links to Aunt Marie and Uncle Henny, I would greatly appreciate it. I can't seem to find anything anywhere and I am beginning to think we are aliens from another planet LOL!
