Are the Hennings of Germany that you are seeking info on any relation to a John Henning and Christina Metrow also of Germany.
They had a son, Ludwig Henning who married Bertha LISCH. According to Ludwig's death certificate on file in Elgin, Illinois, USA, he was born in Brenkow, Germany. His name in the states is Louis J. Henning and he is buried in Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin, Illinois.
Just wondered if this may tie in to yours...because this is where I am stuck...
