Looking for information on the Hennings from Leipzig Germany. The furthest back I've been able to go is to Ferdinand Gotlieb Henning, born 1821 in Leipzig. He married Auguste Alvine Wellner who was born 1831. They had a son, Paul Ferdinand Henning, born 1856 in Leipzig. Paul married Kunigunde Weiss who was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1859. Paul and Kunigunde had two children, Clara A.B. Henning and Oscar Henning. They immigrated to Boston, Mass. in 1886. Their daughter Anna would be born in 1893. The Hennings were engravers by occupation. Paul Henning died in 1900 from kidney disease. Clara Henning married Oscar Zapff, but died in the 1918 influenza outbreak. Oscar Henning died of TB at the young age of 31. Anna married Walter Kipp, and she died at the age of 34 to anemia. There are no Hennings left from this family here in the states. I hope to gather more information about the Hennings in Germany.
