Hello Michael...
I am John Patrick Hennigan, the son of John (Bob) Hennigan who was the son of Maurice and Catherine Hennigan, of Nedineagh, Dunmanway, Co. Cork Eire.
I have been very interested in your work on the Hennigans, certainly your website mentions my father, as he emigrated to London. I was one of four children born to him and my mother Julie. He died in 1994, she died earlier this year, aged 88.
I was in Dunmanway last week, and visited the Famine Cemetary, Fanolubbas, and I found the graves of my Grandparents, Maurice and Catherine Hennigan, also that a cousin (Maurice son of my father's brother Thomas) had found an original tombstone for the great grand parents, Thomas and Ellen Hennigan..he has erected a new stone.....you may agree we have much in common.
I am currently working in London, as a police officer and have four children, 3 daughters and a son.
Please get in touch

John (Seán) Hennigan
