Buried in the Sardis Methodist Church Cemetery, Clinton, Laurens County, S.C., is Nancy McCrary (1805-1856), a daughter of John and Sarah Henley, and consort of Matthew McCrary (1798-1870) who is also buried there. I find some deed activity in early Laurens County for John Henley. Does anyone know who this Matthew McCrary was?
