Looking for information on Maria/Mariah who is my great great grandmother. She is either African American or Mulatto. She was born abt 1850 and married Henry Biggers 9/1975 in Albermarle Cty., Va. Those records shows here last names as "Henly/Henley". She had a son before that marriage and his name was was Tom/Thomas "Smith" Biggers. This death records shows her maiden names as "Brooks". State Libaray of Richmond, Va., shows her mother as Sallie Blue. 1870 Census census showa a Maria H. Smith, age 15, living in Henrico Cty.,Va., Jefferson Ward (Richmon), working in the househod of Fredric Hill/ Hall. Anyone with any information please emmail me at C_Skipper@msn.com
