Could your Karl have come over in about 1857 with Christian Henke, from Posen, Prussia? There was a family of Henke's with sons named Frederick, William, and CARL,with a mother named Henrietta. They had a sister named Wilhelmine and another one named Ulrik(?) Later, after the Civil War, Frederick and William, and possibly Wilhelmine bought land in Marquette and Marathon Cos. in Wisconsin. Do you have any connection here?

Please email me.

Sherry W. Henke
