Elizabeth Caroline Hendry, born 12/30/1830,Lowndes County Ga. Daughter of Willaim Hendry and Nancy McFail. Granddaughter of Robert Hendry born 1752, Isle of Arran, Scotland.
She married Jacob Curry in 1850 in the Thomasville Ga. area.. My Grandfather, Neil Asbury Curry was born 1871 in Ochlocknee Ga. and may have been the youngest of several children.
I believe she was became an orphan at age 9, when both parents died of typhoid fever.
I'm seeking any info on her and her ancestors. Also any info on her descendants, I believe one of her daughters married a Groover. Any info or source would be appreciated. thomas_curry06@comcast.net
