Looking for descendants of Seymore Hill Hendry and his first and only wife, Mary A. Florence. They had three children: James T. Hendry, born November 1875; Charles S. Hendry, born November 1885; Clara Hendry, born December 1892. Seymore was born April 1849 in Georgia and Mary was born September 1852 in Meriwether Co., GA.
They are living in White Sulfur Springs, Meriwether Co., in 1900.
Mary is a widow. She and two of her children, James and Clara, are living in Birmingham, Jefferson Co., Alabama in 1910.
Mary had two sisters and three brothers. One of her sisters was Martha Frances Florence who married Seymore's half brother, James P. Hendry.
I do not know if Mary remarried after Seymore died. If so, she may have been a Hendrix.
