I don't know if this helps but I had a great-great grandfather named Hugh Campbell Hendry, born in 1850 Scotland. He was married in Newark, NJ in 1888. He had a daughter he named Julia. Maybe she was named after a sister of his? If Hugh had a sister, she could have easily been born in 1852.
