My grandfather came to Canada from Scotland in 1910 and purchased a farm
in Newcastle Ontario. Gfather's name was Robert and he was married to
Annabella Erskine (b. 1888) in Kirkgunzeon in 1912. Robert was b. 1884.
Robert died 1919 and his older bro. John(b. 1881) came to Newcastle ON
via New Mexico to help run farm and later married Annabella. Between the two brothers there were several offspring namely John,
Robert, Annabelle, Edith, Archie, and Alexander(my father) I have
further info about DOB etc. If any of these sound familiar, please
contact me
John and Robert had the following siblings: Alexander(1886),
William(1888), James(1889), Elizabeth(1890)-married to Chalmers,
Jean(1892)-married to Montgomery.
GGgrandparents were John (1806) and Jean-nee Crawford(1826).
Ggrandparents are Robert (b. 1846) and Agnes-nee Barbour (b. 1847) I'm
looking for info to take the line back beyond John and Jean. Who were
John's siblings, parents, gparents etc. If anybody can help, or give me
a place to start, I'd be very appreciative.
