Robie, You contacted Pat and she forwarded the information to the McGehee-L. I am Elizabeth McGhee. My husbands grandfather, Edward Hendrix is the son of Lorenzo Dow and his first wife,Rachel Ann Satterfield.
I'm sure they were divorced, although I haven't seen the actual papers. Lorenzo disappeared for several years. He was thought to be dead. Rachel married again to a man surnamed Summers. Lorenzo returned from Texas, where he had been. There had to have been a divorce, Rachel married while she had a living husband, and because Lorenzo Dow was married again several times in the state of IL.
