Ronnie:

I don't have a whole lot to go by, but one would think that the Hendrix surname of Jackson and Banks County, GA would suggest some sort of common ancestry. But then again, Hendrix (Hendricks, Hendrick, etc.) was not such an uncommon name that unrelated people may have shared the same region.

I was always wary that Moses may have been connected to my Mary (b. ABT 1817; GA) because she listed the place of birth of both her parents as Georgia in the 1880 Census. Moses was from South Carolina.

But this does not suggest the families are unrelated. I will continue to search and keep you posted of my findings.

My surnames from this county and timeframe include Hendrix, Williamson, Be(a)vers, Lester, Hawkins, Kidd & Carter. Let me know if you see any connections.

Thanks

Stan

Thanks.

Stan Bevers
