Hello. In Nov 1829 there were four orphan Hendrick children in Anson Co NC. The deceased parents were William and Thelia Hendrick. The children were Sarah S Hendrick (over 14), James M Hendrick, Thomas S Hendrick and Mary A Hendrick. A William Hendrick of Dallas Co AL sought and obtained guardianship of these orphans through the Anson Co NC courts. He then gave power of attorney to Wm Green of Perry MS to collect a legacy due the orphans from William Taylor. I have been trying to identify this group of Hendrick children and their father. Your inquiry about Taylors causes me to wonder if you can help? I do know there were many people from Mecklenburg Co VA who settled into Anson Co NC. Thanks, -Will Hendricks
