LETHA OLIVE HENDREN, daughter of JOHN T. and MARY A. HENDREN, was born in Lorraine, Harrison County, Mo., on January ll, l884. She united with the Christian Church of Ridgeway, Mo., at fourteen years of age, and lived a consistent Christian life.
She was united in marriage to WILLIAM H. FURMAN, of Leona, Kansas, on December l8, l907. The first year of their marriage was spent at Oakley, Kansas, the second at Cozad, Neb. In the third year of their marriage, they moved to Kirby, Mont., where they lived at the time of her death. She was loved by all who knew her, a faithful wife and helpmeet.
She departed this life on March 9, l9l8, at the home of her sister, MRS. S.W. CHAMBERLAIN, Decatur, Iowa, leaving to mourn her loss, a husband, mother, four brothers and four sisters and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services were conducted from the Christian Church at Decatur, Wednesday, March l3th, at 9 a.m.
Interment was in Decatur Cemetery.
