Hi Lisa,
I'am not sure that I have any information for you, but I do have a John Hendon who married my gr-gr-aunt (Angeline Ferguson) in Johnson Co., Arkansas in October 1873. Angeline had an older sister Elmira who was married to John Smith. They were also married (April 1868) in Johnson County, Arkansas. I have been unable to find them in Arkansas after their marriages.
