Thomas Hendley & wife Sallie - parents of : Henry P. Hendley & wife Manda, Horace H. Hendley and wife Zular Ada, Alvis Edward Hendley, Albert A. Hendley. There were daughters also, but none lived beyond childhood (according to my grandfather.)

Albert (and wife Alice I think) had 7 children (I believe from the records I have): Jesse A., Vincent O., Laura E., James W., Julia, W.C., and C. L. These children would have all been the same age as my grandparents. In 1911, my great grandfather Horace purchased the land in Dysartsville that was left to Albert and then to his children. Thus his brother Albert must have been dead by then. I have some deed records that I copied on a trip to NC several years ago at the county courthouse. I have not had the chance to get back to do more research.

Birth and death records of the area need to be researched. Census records as well. Have not had the time to do through research.

Daisy Gold purchased the property from my great grandfather. I need to follow that lead as well.

You need to check your family history and compare. It is certainly possible that we are related.
