My great-grandmother was Theresa Hendler, born April 3, 1885 in Szolnok, Hungary. Her parents were Mathias Hendler and Marie Potoky. Siblings included Franz, Josef, Adel Hendler Zotter, Marie Hendler Schuch and Paula Hendler Judt. They were a German-speaking Catholic family. Theresa (and some of the siblings) came to America, where she married Emil Greschek, Sr. She died on August 26, 1958 in Chicago. Does anyone have any info on this branch of the Hendlers? Or Szolnok? Any info you can share would be much appreciated!
