First wife Almira Hendershot b. 1829 Columbia Co. PA, m. 20 Nov 1851 NY, she died 1881 age 52. Had second wife Clara (Mills) Griffin b. Mar 1839 Sparta, NY d. 13 Feb 1911 age 72. Ch: Ida E. b. 1857 m. Edward G. Booher, Frances A. b. 1859 m. John Hurlburt, , Rachel L. b. 1863, Edward B. b. Dec 1867 m. Helen Delilah Bradfield.
