Richard Hemsley was my grandfather. He died in London in 1936. He was married to Catherine Western, and had four children,Barbara (known as May)Frank,Fred,Harold(my father) Catherine died three weeks after my father was born. He remarried and had another five children, George,Grace,Vera,Dougla,and Charles.Both Richard and Catherine are buried in Mayfield churchyard. Are there any relations in the area?
