Hello,
I've just seen your message re the Hemsley's of Kegworth? I have just discovered that my husband's great, great grandmother was a Sophia Hemsley. She was born c1823 in Kegworth, and as far as I can make out was the illegitimate daughter of Sarah Hemsley who went on to marry a William Knowles in 1826, Kegworth. I know very little about them and was wondering if they might tie in with any of your ancestors?
