I am curious about the name "Burdette" Hemsley. I am trying to find the first husband of Bertha B. Reynolds Hemsley Ridenbaugh. They evidentally did not stay married long because she moved back home with her parents Thomas Reynolds and Mary E. ? and also has a baby daughter Lilia, later I discovered was Delilah.
Bertha then married Burdette Ridenbaugh 24 June 1903;her little daughter was about 1-2 years old. They had two children William and Lillian and Delilah was the oldest. (Lilia) Burdette must have adopted her.
Pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
