Hello everyone
I am new to this message board and am delighted to find one on the Hemsley family. My great grandmother was Charlotte Helen Hemsley, 1841 (Kent) to 1913 (Kew, Australia).
Her parents were Charles Hemsley, born c1804 (not in Kent), died 1843 Greenwich, Kent & Charlotte Edwards, born c1807 London, died 1857 Greenwich.
Acc to 1841 and 1851 census, Charles had an aunt Fanny Hemsley, born c1777 in Sussex.
Please can somebody make a connection to this lot?
